From January 9 to 12, the United States time, the world’s largest, highest level and most influential International Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2024) was held in Las Vegas. Arraymo, a subsidiary of Archermind, brought  FusionOS, a complete vehicle operating system, to show the world the innovative technology of intelligent vehicle software from China.

In the tide of global automobile intelligence, the automobile is being reshaped into a mobile intelligent space, and has become a bright star on the CES stage. As the bottom core of this technological revolution, the importance of vehicle operating system is self-evident. It is not only the key underlying technology of cross-domain integration and vehicle collaboration, but also an important force to promote the process of automobile intelligence. As a key area for car manufacturers to make configuration differentiation, intelligent  cockpit is one of the core competitive technology directions of this CES. During CES, Arraymo demonstrated FusionEX7.0, an intelligent cockpit software system based on Qualcomm SA8295P/SA8255P. Among them, SA8295P is a high-end product in Qualcomm’s fourth-generation Snapdragon cockpit platform and the first flagship-level  5nm chip built specifically for cars. With Qualcomm SA8295P as the main chip of the cockpit system, Arraymo supports the separation of soft and hard, meets the requirements of multi-screen scenes such as instrument, central control, AR-HUD, and rear entertainment system, and realizes a higher level of differentiated driving experience and safety guarantee with higher computing power.

In terms of efficiently creating a rich and integrated cockpit experience, Arraymo presents two technical highlights of interconnection +AI through the deep integration of hardware and software: First of all, the vehicle interconnection engine AMPlay of FusionEX7.0 has been further upgraded, focusing on solving problems such as interconnection protocol differences, interconnection efficiency, and interconnection experience fragmentation. It supports 360 °C panoramic video projection and interaction, 3D spatial audio and video projection and interaction, human-vehicle-family multi-device collaboration , and is compatible with Android/Windows/IOS multi-platforms. Secondly, based on Qualcomm SA8295P/SA8255P,Arraymo brings a smoother full-scene experience for generative AI applications, including ubiquitous recognition and AI generation capabilities, multifrequency core scene intelligent voice interaction, more than 60 language capabilities, multi-mode perception of 28 emotions.

Intelligent driving is an important development direction of the current automotive industry. Arraymo FusionDrive2.0 is a product-level software solution specially created for intelligent driving. Currently, it has been adapted to mainstream platforms such as Qualcomm, NVIDIA and Horizon, providing a solution integrating platform adaptation layer, intelligent driving middleware and algorithm container. It supports the efficient and convenient deployment and development of algorithms and applications, and provides a safe and solid solution foundation and an open and easy-to-use software framework for the intelligent driving ecosystem.

In addition, Arraymo has brought electronic rear-view mirror system solutions. The solution achieves an industry-leading cold start time of less than 3 seconds and an end-to-end image delay of less than 60 milliseconds. The solution also has dark light processing capability, strong light suppression capability, image enhancement capabilities such as rain fog and purple edge removal, and supports stain detection. What’s more, the program also supports AI extensions, such as CMS’s BSD/DOW and other functions, to provide more comprehensive and reliable support for intelligent driving.

The trend of the evolution of vehicle electronic and electrical architecture to central domain control has also received wide attention and in-depth discussion at CES. A large amount of data is collected, transmitted and processed in the central domain control system. How to ensure the real-time response and stability of the system , where not only powerful software algorithms and data acceleration processing are required, but also the efficient collaboration of multi-chip in the multi-core heterogeneous architecture. Arraymo deployed FusionWise3.0 central domain control software system based on NXP S32G, and combined Intelligent Cockpit Domain (Qualcomm SA8295P/SA8255P) and Intelligent Driving Domain (NVIDIA Orin) to build an efficient vehicle network and connect various heterogeneous SoCs , and provide communication, diagnosis, time synchronization, big data, OTA and other 13 subsystems, effectively solve the problem of signal fusion and priority processing in the central domain control. At the same time, with the FusionSOA suite, it realizes crossdomain service management and scheduling, truly changes the development and integration mode of vehicle software, and provides strong support for the evolution of vehicle electronic and electrical architecture.

At the same time, with the continuous evolution of EE architecture to “central computing + regional control architecture”, Arraymo actively  adapts and  deploys software products in mainstream regional controllers. At this CES exhibition, Arraymo brought the research and development results in this field, FusionWise light version and Infineon TC4x series adaptation integration, on the one hand significantly improve the parallel processing unit computing processing speed, on the other hand fully enable the platform communication capability, greatly reduce the delay of CAN communication, making the communication rate increased by 3 times.

As a key step for the electronic and electrical architecture to further advance to the central domain control, it is also the direction of research and development that Arraymo is currently focusing on. Arraymo  cabin-driver solution supports the simultaneous integration of digital cockpit and intelligent driving system into Qualcomm’s first  cabin-driver platform 8775, supports the simultaneous operation of multiple operating systems, and is equipped with FusionWise cross-domain middleware to realize a variety of vehicle networking applications and services, such as remote control and remote diagnosis. At the same time, FusionWise cross-domain middleware also supports a variety of communication protocols and security mechanisms, which can provide comprehensive data protection and privacy protection for vehicle systems
